He should get a series or two. However, ultimately, I would like the keep Dayne in the back field. He doesn't fumble, is never hurt, and (most of the time) can be counted on in short yardage situations. He also has surprisingly good hands. If anything, I would say that we IR Green and let Joe and Walker battle it out to be Dayne's back up.

I think we have to IR Green. We need the roster spot for more help on defense cover situations.
I'd like to see Walker get a shot at carrying the ball. See what he has got.

Yup. No telling how many tracks Kubiak has laid down for the Dayne Train. As long as there is a great view....we may go all the way around the mountain with him. He is going to have a great game. I can already feel it. Cold...nasty day...pounding the ball...that is Ron Daynes style! He should have a lot of fun out there Sunday. I predict that several collisions will send browns to the sidelines for a breather. Some of them might even be seeing Like a Star @ heaven 's.

All aboard the Dayne Train.

I hear ya. I am hoping that Walker gives us a good show with his limited time so we can have a little more depth at RB. But if Ron keeps improving..we may have found a legitimate runner who can keep us on the field and not make those game deciding turnovers. Still, it would be nice to have some confidence in our backup back ups. Smile

I was pissed that Kub decided to derail the train against the Browns. It didn't look like they had an answer for him but for some reason we started to pass and forgot the running game that looked to be going well. I don't know. Dayne was doing well imo. Some may disagree? But i think we win that game if Kub's keeps running Dayne like he used to always do even when he sucked.lol Now he is rolling and Kub's decides not to use him? I don't get it?

All aboard. I think this game will either prove or disprove the Dayne is legit theory. Titans have a pretty solid run defense so if Dayne can play well..he has sold me. I admit that i have Dayne on my fantasy bench this week and playing Kolby Smith..lol. But still..i want to see him crush the titans rushing defense stats. I also want to see the walker guy get at least 5-10 reps ,depending on how well the first 5 carries go, to spell Dayne some and just to see the guy get a chance in a real game that means everything.

I don't know anything about walker. He may be another great surprise like Davis or Jacoby.

Walker had a pretty good first time game.....he catches ther ball quite wel and made people miss....I think i want him to get a ton more action the rest of the way so we can evaluate him more

Walker did well for his first start. No fumbles! Made some plays and averaged over 5 yards a carry. Very very respectable. He almost got a td too. Made a great cut and from where i was sitting i thought he was gonna make it. Nice game! Dayne came in the second and played good too on his hurt foot. Everyone can run on Denver. I'm glad we played some of that advantage. I think we got over 150 rushing yrdsa with walker, dayne, walter, and sage.

I agree. The season is over..Dayne is hurt...why not let Walker start and play the whole game against Indy and see what he is made of. He hasn't fumbled although i grit my teeth sometimes watching him carry the ball loosely. As long as he keeps the ball , i say let's take a real good look at him in Indy. Let Dayne rest up for the Jags.

Walker finished up with some very very respectable numbers. He may be a good extra guy to hang on to.
